InformationComprehensive support program for individuals who have lost someone to suicide or homicide. Professionally-trained grief facilitators, many with lived experience of suicide or homicide losses, provide care in a safe, compassionate, and judgement-free environment. Program addresses short and long-term impacts of traumatic loss including social and mental health impacts. Services help participants process feelings of loss, reduce isolation, and navigate healing journey. Support available in multiple formats: individual sessions, couples, families, other groups, 8-week closed groups for survivors, drop-in groups for suicide loss survivors, and debriefings for those who witness suicide or for community groups affected by suicide/homicide. Currently most services offered remotely. Also provides consultations and training to community groups and organizations supporting those grieving suicide or homicide loss.
